1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TidyReceipt ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

TidyReceipt is an AI-powered receipt recognition service that:

Processes receipt images using artificial intelligence
Extracts data such as amounts, dates, merchants, and descriptions
Integrates with Google Sheets for data organization
Uploads receipt images to Google Drive
Provides both free and premium subscription options

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must:

Be at least 13 years old
Have a valid Google account
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account
Set up Google Sheets and Drive URLs for data storage

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

Upload malicious files or content
Attempt to reverse engineer the service
Use the service for any illegal activities
Share your account credentials with others
Upload content that infringes on others' rights
Use the service to process fraudulent receipts
Attempt to overload or crash our systems
Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions

5. Subscription and Payment

Free Tier

Free users have limited uploads and AI processing per month. We reserve the right to modify these limits.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time.

Refunds

We do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you'll have access until the end of your billing period.

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices.

7. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TidyReceipt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your receipt images and extracted data. You grant us a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing our service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

100% accuracy in receipt recognition
Uninterrupted service availability
Compatibility with all receipt formats
Data loss prevention
Compatibility with all Google account types

You use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TidyReceipt be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. We may delete your account and data at our discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
